Martin collaborated with Gerret Warner to shoot part of the
recently released Vollis Simpson documentary.
Local artist, Vollis Simpson, a retired farm-equipment repairman,
found a second career as a junkyard artist. Some of Vollis Simpson's works
recently found a home in Wilson, NC at Whirligig Park.
The opening event hosted many congressmen and local leaders,
and of course, crowds of Simpson's fans.
The documentary on Vollis Simpson wrapped in the Summer of 2011.
